Terms & Conditions

The Application is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the Application only for its intended purpose — managing your food inventory, scanning grocery receipts, and generating recipes.

You must not:

• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative versions of the Application.
• Attempt to extract the source code or translate the Application into other languages.

The Application uses the Google Gemini API to scan receipts and generate recipes.

• Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors. The Service Provider does not guarantee the accuracy of receipt scans, ingredient lists, or the safety and quality of generated recipes.
• Health & Allergies: Users are solely responsible for verifying ingredients and allergen information before consuming any food. Never rely on the Application for medical or nutritional advice.
• Rate Limits: AI features (receipt scanning and recipe generation) are subject to daily usage limits. These limits reset every 24 hours.
• Assumption of Risk: You consume food items and follow recipes entirely at your own risk. The Service Provider is not liable for food poisoning, allergic reactions, or any health issues resulting from the use of the Application.

To comply with Apple's App Store guidelines, the following rules apply to any text prompts or content you provide within the Application:

• Prohibited Content: You may not use the Application to generate or store content that is offensive, illegal, defamatory, or promotes violence or harm.
• Moderation: The Service Provider reserves the right to remove any user content or terminate accounts that violate these standards without prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account within the Application, or by contacting us at contact.invenai@gmail.com. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

All trademarks, copyrights, and database rights related to Inven AI remain the property of the Service Provider. The Application's name, logo, and all related content are protected intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

The Application integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and conditions:

• Google Gemini — AI processing
• Supabase — Database and authentication
• Sentry — Error reporting

The Service Provider is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to:

• Data loss or corruption
• Hardware or device damage
• Reliance on AI-generated content or recipe suggestions
• Any health or safety outcomes related to food consumed

The Service Provider may suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these terms will immediately cease.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
