Privacy Policy

For a better experience, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including:

• Account Information: Email address, full name, profile picture, and unique user ID.
• App Usage Data: IP address, operating system, and pages visited within the Application.
• User Content: Camera data (for receipt scanning), inventory data, and user-provided text prompts.
• Notification Data: Push notification tokens.

The Application utilizes the Google Gemini API to provide features such as receipt scanning and recipe generation.

• Processing: User-provided images and text prompts are transmitted to Google for processing.
• Privacy: This data is used solely to provide the Application's features and is processed in accordance with Google's API terms.
• Rate Limiting: The Application enforces daily usage limits on AI features to ensure fair and stable service for all users.

The Application utilizes third-party services to manage authentication, data storage, and performance. Each has its own Privacy Policy:

• Google Gemini — AI processing for receipt scanning and recipe generation
• Supabase — Database and authentication
• Sentry — Error reporting and crash analytics
• Apple App Store Services — App Store distribution

The Application requests access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of scanning grocery receipts. Camera images are transmitted to Google Gemini for AI processing and are not stored by the Service Provider beyond what is necessary to fulfill the scan request.

The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and maintain an account.

Account Deletion: In compliance with App Store guidelines, users may delete their account and all associated personal data at any time. This can be done:

1. Directly within the Application via Settings → Delete Account.
2. By contacting the Service Provider at contact.invenai@gmail.com.

Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact us at contact.invenai@gmail.com.

The Service Provider maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely via Supabase.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
